Duke Blueberry:

A common variety loved for its sweetly-flavored light blue fruit in summer and pretty bell-shaped flowers, bushy and often arching, a heavy and early producer; blueberries need highly acidic soil, perfect drainage and mulch.

Berry Size/Yield: Large berries and medium-high yield 

Flavor:  Sweet, classic blueberry flavor

Form:   Medium vigor, upright, open and arching growth habit

Basic blueberry care: 

All blueberries need highly acidic soils, with pH conditions ranging from 4.5-5.5. With proper drainage, fertilization, pruning, and cross pollination for a bump in production, these showy shrubs will make nutrient rich blueberries a staple of your summer and fall diet!
