Mid-season variety ripens in mid-to-late August. Medium dark red plums are sweet and firm. Excellent flavor fresh or cooked – great for preserves. Good pollinator.

An outstanding fruit tree with showy fragrant white flowers in spring and sweet, dark red fruit in late summer; great for eating fresh and canning; freestone; needs full sun, well-drained soil.

Cross-Pollination Guide:

• Plums can be pollinated by most any other plum varieties as long as both are blooming around the same time, and are the same type (Japanese or European).
• Best Pollenizer: Santa Rosa, Shiro.
