Early Asian variety, ripens in late-July. Very large golden pears are sweet, crisp with a fine texture. Considered the variety with the best flavor and the longest storage life.

One of the hardiest Asian pear varieties, this upright, spreading tree produces delicious, firm and juicy yellow fruit in summer; flowers profusely in early spring, and in fall, produces a striking orange-red display.

Cross-Pollination Guide:

• Pears can be pollinated by most any other pear varieties as long as both are blooming around the same time.
• Best Pollenizers: Nijiseiki, Chojuro.
