Asian pear, that is late ripening in late August. Medium golden pears are very flavorful. This is a favorite with home gardeners because of its heavy yields and long harvest season. It also has an excellent storage life.

An attractive Asian pear variety, this upright, spreading tree produces delicious, golden-brown fruit in late summer; flowers profusely in early spring; presents a striking orange-red fall display.

Cross-Pollination Guide:

• Pears can be pollinated by most any other pear varieties as long as both are blooming around the same time.
• Best Pollenizers: Chojuro, Korean Giant, Shinseiki.
