Blue-purple flowers bloom after the leaves wither in June to July. A lovely native wildflower, forming carpets on hillsides, bluffs, and woodland clearing. Grows well in dry/rocky, meadows. Grow in full to part sun in good draining soil; best grown in a non-irrigated landscape. Plant 4″ deep.

Grows happy among grasses and in thin soils. 6″ to 12″ tall. Will spread by seed.
