Farewell-to-Spring, Clarkia amoenia var. lindsey, prefers full sun, in well drained slopes, scrub or meadows.
Showy pink to dark pink flowers late spring and early summer, and are favored by many bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Direct Sow: Mix contents of seed packet with 3 times as much vermiculite or fine coir. Spread on bare disturbed ground in early fall, or just after last frost in spring. Covers 100 square feet.
In Container: Plant 2-3 seeds per cell or pot indoors in late fall or early winter, for planting out 12" apart in late spring.
