Asclepias Speciosa Showy Milkweed Crown

Grows well in dry/rocky meadow conditions. Grow in full to part sun in good draining soil; best grown in a non-irrigated landscape. Plant just below soil level.

Pink flowers bloom July to August. This plant spreads easily by rhizomes, growing very well in disturbed landscapes. This is a specific Monarch butterfly larval host plant. Grows 4′-5′ tall.
