We Plan You Plant Design Service

The We Plan You Plant service is perfect for those who need guidance on designing a small garden area (no larger than 300 sq. ft.). This is a design-only service, meant for those who intend to do the prep and planting themselves.

Ideal for a small entryway or small garden area, here’s what to expect:

• A design consultation at your home (45 minutes max) to discuss the vision and goals for the planting area.
• A custom design sketch and list of plant suggestions.
• A final consultation at Shonnard’s Nursery with the Garden Designer to review the design and be shown available plant selections.

Within 3 days of purchase you will be emailed a pre-consultation form (please check your Spam folder as email can sometimes get caught there) that can be completed at your earliest convenience. Once the form is submitted, the Garden Designer will contact you to schedule the site consultation. Consultations will be scheduled within 1-2 weeks of submitting the form.

Service Details:

• $175.00 is for addresses within 5 miles of Shonnard’s Nursery. 
• $3 per mile will be added for every mile over 5 miles, and will be charged separately.
• Site consultations will be 45 minutes max.
• The final consultation at Shonnard’s Nursery will be 1 hour max.
• This is a design-only service.

About Our Garden Designer

Rebecca Anderson is a lifelong grower at heart.  Her journey with plants began early, playing in her Mom's garden as a kid and growing mustard seeds from their pantry, eventually selling flowers at the Corvallis farmer's market. This love of nurturing expanded through experiences like farming in Port Townsend, managing a farmers market business, and WWOOFing (Organic Farm Exchange) in New Zealand—a climate very much like ours here in the Willamette Valley. In college, an Urban Farm class first sparked her love of permaculture, and ever since she's been converting lawn to productive food forests wherever she lands.

Beyond the garden, she is a Mom of two young kids and a watercolor artist. She stays active rock climbing, biking in town to run errands, or hitting the trails at Alsea Falls. She is excited to share what she's learned and encourages you to reach out—she’d love to connect and help you bring your planting vision to life!
