Ripens late October. Large, thick-skinned fruit with outstanding texture and flavor. Considered by many to be the best flavored European pear.

Grows very large, greenish-yellow pears with a red blush, that are juicy with a very rich flavor. Known to be one of the sweetest and juiciest European varieties, thus is favored for fresh eating. Long-lived fruit tree make it a great choice for home gardeners. Has excellent shelf life. Hardy tree, and considered moderately drought tolerant.
