Brooks produces very large dark purple plums with yellow flesh. Fruits are sweet and great for fresh eating, preserves, canning and drying. Makes excellent dried prunes, also great for baking. Ripens in September. Plant with another European plum variety for cross-pollination.

Bare-root plants are in their dormant state, should be planted immediately, and are available for purchase during the winter months (January to March).
