Nectar rich, pinkish-colored flowers are adored by hummingbirds, native bees, butterflies (particularly the endangered Fender's blue butterfly), and other wildlife. This perennial blooms through summer. Great addition to a butterfly garden, or meadow. Grows well in areas with moist soil and full sun.


Direct Sow:  Mix contents of seed packet with 3 times as much vermiculite or fine coir.  Spread in scarified or cleared site late fall through mid spring.  Covers 100 square feet.

In Container:  Plant 2-3 seeds per cell or pot fall to winter, for planting out 18" apart winter to spring.
