Ripens late June to July. Most popular and widely planted. Dark red cherries are firm and sweet. Crop is even-ripening, generally ripening all at the same time. Excellent fresh or canned.
The most common commercial sweet cherry variety featuring showy white flowers in spring followed by deep red fruit, tall and upright, best for larger landscapes. Needs full sun, well drained soil, and a pollinator. Be prepared to fight the birds for fruit!
