Iochroma Cyaneum Purple 1

This is a relative of Brugmansia and belongs to the nightshade family. 

They are tropical (native to Central and South America). They grow VERY FAST. Our variety has dark purple blooms and flowers profusely throughout the season. 

Much like citrus they need protection from cold and frost in the winter months. It's a great plant for hummingbirds. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer (APEX + liquid feed during the growing season).
