Cornus Florida ‘Peachy Cream’ Peachy Cream Dogwood 15

Peachy Cream® Flowering Dogwood features showy clusters of pink flowers held atop the branches in mid spring. The "flowers" are actually comprised of a showy ring of colored bracts (modified leaf structures) surrounding the true chartreuse inflorescence in the center. It has forest green deciduous foliage. The pointy leaves turn an outstanding burgundy in the fall. It produces red berries from early to late fall. The warty gray bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.

A charming small specimen tree cherished for its emerging peachy-pink blooms that transition to blush white, then pure white; requires rich, well-drained acidic soil and adequate precipitation; quite hardy, best with some shelter.
