Vinho Verde® Weigela features showy clusters of pink trumpet-shaped flowers along the branches from late spring to early summer, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds. It has attractive lime green foliage edged in black with hints of burgundy. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental but do not develop any appreciable fall color.
