Thalictrum Polycarpum Tall Western Meadow Rue Small

Prefers part shade to full shade as this species thrives under the canopy of oaks, mixed hardwood and riparian forests. Great perennial companion with our native bleeding hearts. Shows out with eccentric purple blooms from May-August. It can grow up to 6 feet tall when mature. Moist soil is ideal, but this species can tolerate summer drought once established.
