Metal Queen Catcher

This queen catcher has large enough slits for the queen to breathe and for house bees to feed her, but small enough that a laying queen cannot slip through and escape. It is useful for a variety of tasks, including:

-catching a queen during a swarm capture to keep her stationary and safe while her daughters enter the swarm container.

-catching a queen in order to mark her with a year appropriate color (see Queen Marking Pen)
