Phacelia Nemoralis Var. Oregon Oregon Phacelia

Loved by bumblebees! A unique perennial wildflower with hairy leaves and fiddleneck flower heads covered with small white florets, opening over many weeks from May to August. Often found in the coastal mountains, growing in tough conditions such as dry shade to moist slopes.

Habit:  Prefers full sun to partial shade in moderately moist to dry slopes and meadows. 

Direct sow: Mix contents of seed with 3 times as much vermiculite or fine coir.  Spread on bare disturbed ground late fall to winter. Covers up to 100 square feet.

In Containers: Plant 2-3 seeds per cell or pot late summer to fall. Keep cold and moist for March germination, for planting out late spring or early summer.
