Clarkia Purpurea Ssp. Quadrivuln. Wine-cup Clarkia

Habitat: This beautiful and uncommon Clarkia species grows in a vase-like shape adding color to your garden from late June all the way through fall! They thrive in full to part sun, preferring dry slopes! A generally drier site will suffice. They can reach heights of about 20 inches, but early pruning can keep them compact! 

Direct Sow: Mix contents of seed package with 3 times as much volume of vermiculite or fine coir. Spread on bare disturbed ground in fall or early spring. Covers up to 100 sq. ft.

In containers: Plant 2-3 seeds per cell or pot, then plant them out 8-10” apart in mid-late-spring
