Late variety ripens mid-September. Very large red-purple plums are very juicy and sweet. Excellent fresh, frozen or canned.

This selection is a bearer of firm, heart shaped fruit, with sweet, juicy, blood red flesh; an upright spreading tree that is quite compact and ornamental; needs full sun and well-drained soil; requires pollination from another Japanese plum variety.

Cross-Pollination Guide:

• Plums can be pollinated by most any other plum varieties as long as both are blooming around the same time, and are the same type (Japanese or European).
• Best Pollenizer: Santa Rosa, Beauty.
