Spice Islands Rosemary is a woody herb that is commonly grown for its edible qualities, although it does have ornamental merits as well. The fragrant narrow dark green leaves with curious gray undersides are usually harvested from early to mid summer. The leaves have a sharp taste and a pungent fragrance.

The leaves are most often used in the following ways:

  • Cooking
  • Drying
  • Seasoning

Named after the Spice Islands, this is a pretty plant, with narrow deep green foliage with grey undersides and blue flowers in spring on an upright form; leaves are very flavorful for cooking and as a garnish, wonderful to grow in a container.
