Common Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, grows in prairies and meadows, in sun or in some shade. Will grow in moist or dry environments, and poor quality or disturbed soils.

Early summer flowers are usually white, though occasionally light pink. Yarrow attracts a wide range of pollinators.

Direct Sow:  Mix contents of seed packet with 3 times as much vermiculite or fine coir.  Spread on bare disturbed ground in early fall.  Covers 100 square feet.

In Container:  Scatter 4-5 seeds per pot or cell, on top of soil surface, in late fall for planting out 12-15” apart in spring.
