A wonderful native wildberry closely resembling a thimble. These grow abundantly in the forests at the foot of the Cascades up into sub-apline conditions. They thrive in partial shade/sun requiring minimal watering in the heat of summer.
Their leaves are another very attractive feature, being large and soft with three defined lobes. They can be maintained as a single shrub or if left to their own devices will spread and form a lovely mid height groundcover.
